The "in theory" part didn't hold water. We sailed evenly for a long time. My 
knowledge of the lake, land and winds was my advantage as we slowly pulled 
ahead and increased our distance. I'm sure this won't be the last time we do 
this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results.
Since the owner had been bragging about his faster boat, I was pleased with 
the results. You IMF owners don't have to cower when boats with standard mains 
show up.
