Keith,
I keep one of those WM toolboxes with everything in it on board. I have two 
boats and both have the same tool box. I also keep extra pins and cotter rings 
in a plastic peanut butter jar. I like the plastic continers because they 
don't break and are water tight. I also keep extra wire, fittings, tape, liquid 
electrical tape, duct tape, sail repair tape and rigging tape all in the drawer 
under the entry step.
