Brad,
I have the same problem with RumRunner. I know that spraying the wind  
indicator with WD40 will keep them off until it's gone and I've also coated my  dock 
lines with the stuff, closest to the dock. It seems to have helped. You  have 
to eliminate the paths they can take to your boat.
