Brad,
I think you really need to pay more attention to what's going on in Iraq.  
Let's talk about your good things. I suppose you want to talk about the schools  
and the fact that women are now allowed to go to school. These schools are 
now  teaching "fundamentalism", not reading, writing and arithmetic. The same is 
true  with the college's. There is going to be a real lack of engineers, 
doctors and  business degrees and others that are needed to bring this country 
back on their  feet. Women are being dictated as to how they may dress. There are 
"guards" at  the entrances to the schools preventing people from entering 
that aren't dressed  appropriately. Seems to me we're going back to the ways of 
the Taliban, this  time in Iraq.
The 40% desertion figure was in the local newspaper and also reported on  the 
local TV news. The figure is of people supposed to report to Ft. Jackson for  
duty in Iraq. This thing just keeps getting worse. I'm done for now. 
Gotta have a drink.
