---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Michael, Just doing a little eyeball calculations, it would only take approximately twenty gallons of water to start flowing out of any vents added. That is about 160 lbs, which is the weight of a rather small male of the species. I doubt that it would put enough weight in the rear of the boat to make the vents useless for draining. We normally sail with at least two people, approximately 325 lbs at the rear without any significant change in boat attitude.
