Ed,
Rummy only used the extension when absolutely necessary. Since Bob's  
extension was damaged to the point of uselessness, I used the Dodge truck to  back 
Bob's boat in deep enough to float.
 
Rummy....I like the idea of a V-10 however.  Hmmmmmmm
