Slimmy,
I know thjat you know better than to try to swim in Lake Superior, so I  
won't go there. Outside of thunder bay is a mountain called "Sleeping Giant".  
It's a great place to do some intensive climbing. Kimberly and I climbed the  
portion known as the chest back in 1989. Take plenty of water with you.
Also, outside of Thunder Bay you will find an amethyst mine. It's supposed  
to be the only one in North America. Amethyst has huge purple gem stones. They  
look great in the aquarium.
Liquor is very expensive in Canada. Apparently they tax the hell out of it.
