Ed,
Ask for it at Lowe's. They have it. (You will pay more for it) Another  
option which I chose, was to use treated lumber, also pine. The treated lumber  is 
usually still very green (still wet from the treatment) and it dries to a  
nice supportive curvature with the boat on the trailer.
