I've never done any coastal sailing, but I know what you mean about sailing  
at night in friendly waters. I hope you got your uncle to loosen up a little 
bit  on that trip. Nothing worse than having a sober person on board with a 
bunch of  drunks.
Looks like a nice day on Hartwell. Temps near 80, water temperature is  still 
swimmable and winds out of the NW at 5 to 10. I'll probably try to hook up  
with Yankee Clipper for some tandem sailing. The wife is still a little tender  
from the surgery, so I guess I'll have the day to myself. Actually, I think  
she's trying to get me out of the house. I wonder how much rum I can drink  
today?
