The safety rails besides looking terrible on a 22 foot boat, are more in  the 
way than any good they could possibly do. As for your rambunctious children,  
put them in a life jacket, a good one, and teach them what they can and can't 
do  on the boat. The rules have to change when on the water for safety sake. 
If they  can't abide by the rules, leave them at home with a sitter one time 
when you are  going out and I guarantee absolute good behavior the next time 
you want to take  them.
