Wally,
Our flared hull is great for keeping us dry under normal sailing  conditions, 
but it turns against you when the winds really pick up. Anything  over 25 and 
I'm either at the dock, heading for the dock or holed up in a cove  somewhere 
drinking until the wind settles down.
