Sitting in on the list is similar to sitting in your favorite local bar.  You 
get a lot of boating information, but we also discuss other important  
issues. You will note that the subject line tells you what the topic is and you  
have the option to delete anything you don't want to read.
Many of us have been here for years and enjoy political bantering.....as  
long as it's kept clean and not personal.....sorta.
