Rummy takes the boom off. It's a simple thing to do, except for re threading
the outhaul lines, and I don't want to take the chance of having it come
loose and swinging around. I do enough stupid things without trying to do
something that will save a few minutes. Also, I lower my mast to the bow, using the
six pack method. I suppose I would leave it in place if I had the mast crane
from GB.
Now it's off to the boat. Winds are out of the east north east at 10 with
gusts to 18 and nothing showing up on the radar.....sounds like a great
afternoon of extreme sailing. I hope all of you poor working people are sitting in
your office's in total awe and envy. I will be thinking of you as I'm sailing
and drinking.
