Joe,
120,000 miles on one of today's engines is nothing. I would recommend 
switching your oil over to a synthetic such as Mobil 1 and you can easily get 
300,000 or more from it. It costs more, but it beats the heck out of 
replacing your vehicle. Our 1992 Pontiac with a V6 had 317,000 miles when we 
replaced it and the motor was still strong. Everything else was worn out, but 
the engine was in great shape.
