We buried the bow and very nicely washed the decks and flooded the cockpit.  
The stern was like a mile high out of the water. Good thing we have positive  
flotation. The front ports were open so you know the interior was well washed  
also. Releasing both sails and turning upwind helped, but it took a long time 
 (or so it seemed) before the helm responded and we were into the wind 
collecting  our wits and cleaning out our shorts.
I wonder if I'm the only one that does really stupid things with their  boat. 
I keep trying to find new ways to break her, but she just keeps coming  back 
for more.
We lost three rum and cokes that day. Not to worry, we made new ones and  
continued on.
