Congratulations. You learn something new every time you go out. Cocky ness  
will only get you in trouble. Just about the time you think you have this thing 
 mastered, mother nature or the boat will come along and prove you wrong.
The best thing to do is remain calm, access the situation and do a workable  
fix. Sounds like you got that part down pretty good. Drinking lots of rum will 
 always help with your ability to access the situation and make the correct
