Joe,
WQM is short for West Marine. Trailer slicks are plastic pieces attached to  
the trailer bunks that aid in sliding the boat on to the trailer or in 
Claude's  case, being able to move it in order to gain good balance. Many fisherman 
use  them on their trailers.
