Two thirds of the steel produced in this country comes from natural  
resources mined in this country, specifically the iron range in Minnesota. We  import 
some from other countries, but most of what we use is made right here in  the 
good ole USA. In fact, Russia and China are investing money in our old  
rundown steel operations. Many are quietly being refitted and are in full  operation.
