Ed,
The SeaDoo is also in the shop. Apparently the 10% ethanol has eaten the
fuel lines and gummed everything up including the twin carburetors. The repair
bill is already up to $900.00. The only boat I have that is currently running
and in the water is the 14 foot aluminum with the Tohatsu 9.8, 4 cycle. But,
that will also have to be removed in another week or so as I won't have any
water under my new and expensive dock.

Ed,

I know about the wire to the stern light. He took the stern rail off--he
didn't know I wanted it to stay on for now--and put a connector on the wire
to plug in a temporary stern light but after I explained the need for the
rail to help steady the mast crutch and swim ladder, we put it back on and
reconnected the wires.

I didn't take any "before" pictures of the chain plates because there's
really nothing to see. One pulled out so there was just an empty slot and
the other was bent at the top. I didn't take any "during" pictures because
I was out of town at the time. I will however post some "after" pictures
that I think will be interesting and helpful to anyone who might need to do
this in the future.

As for the Mississippi pictures, I'll try to get to that later today.

As for inviting Rummy for a sail, or any other sailors for that matter, it's
an open invitation.

And Ed, I passed your message on to Roger. He said if you email him, he'll
respond. I'll send you his new address back channel.

Slim
