Sounds like a great time to throw in some Greatful Dead music and break out  
the wine. Driving in those conditions is never fun. Glad everything went okey  
dokey and you made it home. Are you sure you don't want to move to South  
Carolina. Temps here this morning are in the 40's and only getting warmer.

Just got  in from a weekend in Rapid City, SD.  Drove home in a blizzard.
500+  miles of 35-40 mph cross winds, blowing and drifting snow and
"white-outs"  all the way.  Had to detour around a chunk of Interstate 90
that was  closed.  13 hours.  It wasn't that bad until it got dark.   AWD
Astro did the trick though.  Very sure-footed vehicle.   There's another one
we can walk away from!
