Bill and all,
Storing the companionway door is easy. Once removed simply put the short
side up and store it under the port seat. It fits perfectly in the groove and
won't slide around, even under extreme conditions.

Lee,

Our boats are set up slightly differently. I've tried most of the
suggestions that have come through the list. Ultimately, the problem is
that all of the things that make it a good companionway cover work
against it everywhere else. I keep it flat, folded on the bow port
cushion when I have people aboard. I've made a space for it there, and
the cushion keeps it from getting scratched. When I sail single-handed
I put it on the settee cushion because I'm too lazy to take the extra
steps to stow it forward.
