Jon, Welcome to the list. Over the years there has been several different configurations for the outhaul. They all work about the same way, but the hardware differs. If you have any pictures of your hardware and configuration it would be easier to answer your question. General Boats has made many improvements over the years and digital photos are easy to take and post to the list. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. My first question is, when rigging the blue main sail outhaul, does the traveller wheel orientation for and aft make a difference? Plenty of transient and annual slips available (sign of the times). Sunday through Thursday the slips are $1.75/foot. Weekend and holidays they're $2.00/foot. On the marina/pool/showers south side, there's a 35 foot minimum. On the portapotties north side there's no minimum. Depending on your slip, it could be as much as a quarter mile walk to the marina office, which has snack foods and drinks. There's an expensive 5-star (Leland rating) sushi restaurant just outside the marina gates with a much cheaper decent food bar/restaurant below it. Phone number is 410.643.5599. I talked to Jerri last night. I'm in slip 2A, but if you describe my little red Rhodes everyone will know who I am. Betsy's the manager, Fred's the dockmaster, and Jim's the liveaboard who works there. All nice folks. Hope to see you and Fred this weekend! I spent two hours today dragging the thing behind the John Deere and the driveway looks superb. A load of gravel to top it off and I'll be good for quite a while. I was reluctant to spend the money on it, but I couldn't find a single negative comment anywhere and now I know why. The darn thing works as advertised. Even with the differential locked in I can't go up hill and I'm not talking much of a grade either. The grader works as advertised, but I can only go downhill.
