Michael, Number one is correct. The north shore area is the best place to live. Personally I like Evanston. I'll let others with more knowledge answer the rest of your questions. Great food and entertainment all the time in Chicago. You can get a steak in Chicago like nowhere else. Pizza is a real art form and they have the best. Winters are cold, very cold. Temps below zero are common. Driving in Chicago is more fun than taking a class at the Richard Petty driving experience in Orlando. Speed limits don't apply to anyone. Now I am “clueless” about the place, so can anyone help with some “questions” 1)the towns right above Evanston (Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe Northfield) look the best for kids/schools/safety, is that true? 2)what are the ticks for getting cheap/good docking, how the gamed played? 3)are these town real ½ hour into the “loop”? 4)any idea where to store the boat for winter? 5)is it as cold as they say? 6)any other political incorrect thing I should knows? -mjmSee the original archive post
