Jim, My experience with the mast head light is that the bulb is usually good. The connector in question is the deck mounted fitting. Pry it loose after removing the screws and check the wires for corrosion. You might have to remove some of the wire to get to good clean copper. You will need a very small screwdriver, like the one you can buy to repair glasses. I've seen these at grocery store checkout lines. Keep track of which wire goes where. Clean everything up, reassemble and then I like to cover the entire area with liquid electrical tape. This will prevent air and water from corroding it for a while. If the light still doesn't work, check the male plug the same way. Nine times out of ten the problem will be with the deck mounted, female plug. Rummy In a message dated 6/14/2010 3:18:10 P.M. Are the Masthead white light pretty much the same on all Rhodes IMF Masts, if so does anyone know what type of blub I need to get. I'm hoping it's just the blub that is out. Thanks in advance for any help.
