Geoff, The roads have now cleared and no snow in site for the near future. Keep us informed. I would still like to help you rig her the first time. Rummy In a message dated 1/19/2011 4:18:37 P.M. Instead, I'm going to pick it up next week and trail it back to Gulf Shores (weather permitting). Unfortunately, they've just decided here at my marina (where my condo and slip is) to rebuild some sea wall. This has put the boat ramp temporarily out of commission and so I don't know exactly when I'll be able to launch. Hopefully, if the job stays on schedule, the ramp should be available in a couple of weeks. So, I thought after I got the boat here I'd take it nice and slow while rigging it for the first time. Maybe even hook up the motor to a hose and run it, etc. Luckily we have a boat storage area here where I can do all this while waiting for the seawall work to be completed. You guys were so nice to offer your help. I'm sorry I can't be more definite with my plans. I was going to pick the boat up a while back but was afraid to travel with all the snow and ice in the south. GeoffSee the original archive post
