Dennis,
The preferred material for the cabin sole is marine grade plywood. I
believe it is 3/4". Most lumber yards don't stock it, but they can order it for
you. Marine grade means that it was assembled with glue that can withstand
the harsh marine environment.

Is there a better material to use for the sole of the cabin? I have the
stringers ready and was going to use a fiberglass resin sealed (on all
sides) piece of 3/4 plywood in 3-4 pieces in for the sole?

Sincerely,

Dennis Frappier

I trailer launch and have to raise the mast each time. I made a mast
raising
system using the boom as a gin pole and the mainsheet as the muscle.
Our Rhodes is also a '77,(AKA Continental,) it has boom roller reefing for
the main.
