An easy and long lasting solution is to use pipe insulation. The stuff that you put around your hot water pipes in your house. It will require dropping the mast. Place the wires inside the insulation and push into the mast. I believe it will take two or three sections below the spreader and one above the spreaders. Plastic wire ties will also work, but requires removing the wire from the mast and reinstalling. Rummy In a message dated 8/12/2013 8:25:15 P.M. We try to sleep on the boat on weekends and the constant clanging keeps us awake. Is this normal and if so, has anyone figured out a way of silencing the noise? Thanks for any suggestions.
