Reid, Good idea, but wouldn't work for me in SC. Lake Hartwell gets up to 92 degrees by the end of July. Great for swimming, but not for chilling beverages. When we're out cruising for days on end, we carry a mesh bag that can be securely closed. When we anchor we put the wine bottle (unopened) in the bag, attach a line to it, and toss it overboard. By the time we've finished tidying up the boat and made sure the anchor is holding, the wine is chilled and ready for drinking! ----- Warmest regards, Reid K.
