Hi Ric.
The trick I’ve learned with rigging the IMF is to get the inthaul line wrapped properly and to fasten the mainsail properly to the furling tube top and bottom (very taught). I’ve only had to do it twice so I’m probably consciously incompetent.
Do we know that the mast is extruded from the same die for furling and IMF? I would assume so but you know what they say about assumptions.
Need cleats on the bottom of the boom to secure the inhale and at the aft end for outhaul.
