Hi Peter,
Thanks for endorsing my conclusion. Can the center board be removed from inside the boat? If all else fails I may consider it, but would really rather not open up that can of worms. I'll search in the archives on how to do that. The other thing is that maybe checking out the pulleys and the pin would not be too bad an idea.
