The boat normally doesn't have a "bow down" configuration and once the water was pumped out it floats pretty level.
i finally got a digital salinity meter (th#1 house battery was damaged and I have no idea what's in the water so i decided not to taste it0. In any event it is salt water, in fact the salinity is a bit higher than that in the water that the boat is floating in...probably due to some evaporation since it flooded in. Also, no new water came in during the torrential rains we had this weekend.
Regarding the bilge pump, did you drill holes for the drain hose through the stringers in the bilge or what?
