Thomas,
That makes a beautiful cabin. We are rebuilding our cabin from stringers up as well. We currently have the sole sectioned in more manageable pieces and were thinking covering with Seadeck. Yours has me thinking.
A question related to the thread topic. We lost our centerboard in Ian. As a result we removed the trunk cap to inspect and get the broken board out. Our seal is in good shape, but it does have a hole worn by the centerboard. My question is, as long as the gasket is still supple, I not sure why the hole matters. Water would always be present on the underside of the gasket. With the hole, water is also present on the top side of the gasket. Water should be stoped no mater where it is as long as the gasket being sandwiched between the two pieces is good and bolts are tight. Am I missing something in my thought process? I bring it up because someone mentioned they had a hole in there's.
