Barry - I purchased a used IMF mast that had the same kind of bushings to hold the furler tube in place.
Funky.
I contacted Charles Gabriel (charles.gabriel at gmail.com ) And sold me the updated furler guts - much better design.
It consisted of the bottom bracket, a top donut and the Boom Connector, and al new lines..
