I posted an earlier thread about trying to figure it out. We didn't get very far :c we did find the eyes in the rear that lined up with what another forum member said but, It still didn't make much sense how the GB system worked at all!

That post is 100% gb haha, but we couldn't get it to work so we hacked it up to make a DIY ginpole, which is how the new rhodes work anyway so. We figured if its good enough for the new ones it would work for an old one too. That was the general consensus i felt everyone talked about XD

"Damn that thing is crazy, no idea how it works, mine just lifts from the front" :)
