I just sent a couple emails with a question about the IMF and received no response. The issue seems to be that I sent those messages from an email address that was different from my email that is associated with this list. So let me try this again. After 3 years, I'm putting the main sail back on the furler for my IMF mast. I thought when I rolled this up, it was going to be wound clockwise looking from the bottom. However, the furler tube has a slot that seems to suggest I should be winding it counterclockwise as I look at it from the bottom. I did some searching in the archives and I couldn't find this information. Can someone take a look at their IMF mast and tell me if the sail wraps to the left (port) or the right (starboard), as you stand behind the mast? Of course, I also removed the furling line so I can't use that as a clue. I took pictures but not the right ones. At the very least, can someone please confirm that this message is getting through? Thank you, MarkSee the original archive post
