I must have doe something wrong. I did have to hide a good bit of the different colored indicator coat underneath and a gallon did 2 coats and two on the rudder blade, but not the centerboard.
I painted the centerboard and trunk with 2 coats and plan to do.the hull when the weather gets warm, and have barely used any out of the gallon bucket.
You should plan on a gallon.
I hate to admit it but I just buy the least expensive ablative paint; Pettit Hydrocoat.
