   That’s the history I was looking for.  Do you by any chance know what holds the end cap at the bottom of the furler tube in place?  My guess is that it is pressure fitted. Mine has been damaged over the years, perhaps by someone trying to remove it, and I’m afraid I’ll destroy it trying to get it off.  I’d like to swap out the furling line.
