Stephen,

My boat was also recycled in 2016, and had a Badland 2500 ATV winch installed to lift the outboard. I decided that I preferred to raise the outboard manually, and so removed the winch years ago. I kept the winch 'just in case', and you are welcome to it.

The winch was working fine at the time that I removed it. There are wires and the switch in the box it's being stored in. The webbing strap is still in place on the winch.

As I recall, on my boat the center 'rail' of the outboard lift had to be partially removed to gain access to the bolts holding the winch in place. One of the bolts holding the rail in place is definitely below the water line.
