Thanks for the replies.

Regarding the wooden pegs.

I have a stainless steel boarding ladder, so they are not for the ladder.

I looked at the cabin table bottom and there are no places to insert these pegs as a brace.

I think they are something the previous owner left on the boat, but not for the boat.
